Plan Your Event
Space Planning
At GWSEC, every event starts with the right space. With more than 200,000 sq. ft. of configurable areas—from grand ballrooms to intimate breakout rooms—we make it easy to find the perfect fit. Explore our room options and setups below to see how each space can be tailored to your vision, your guest list, and your goals.
Event Setup Types
Boardroom
A single long table with chairs placed around it, typically rectangular or oval. Used for executive meetings, small groups, and discussions where participants face each other.
Theater (Auditorium)
Rows of chairs all facing the front, with no tables. Maximizes seating capacity. Best for presentations, lectures, keynotes, or performances.
Reception (Standing)
Open floor with high-top tables or no tables at all, designed for mingling, networking, and cocktails. Guests stand and move freely.
Banquet (Rounds of 10)
Round tables (typically 60″ or 72″ diameter) seating 8–10 people per table. Often used for meals, galas, and weddings. Capacity depends on table size and spacing for aisles/servers.
Classroom (Schoolroom)
Rows of rectangular tables with chairs facing the front. Each table usually seats 2–3 people. Used for trainings, workshops, or note-taking sessions.
U-Shape
Tables arranged in a U formation with open space in the middle, chairs placed on the outside. Facilitates discussion and presentations to smaller groups (often training sessions or board-style meetings).
Conference (Hollow Square)
Tables arranged in a rectangle or square with an open center, chairs placed around the outside. Good for medium-sized groups that need to face each other, while accommodating more people than a U-shape.
Exhibit Hall Planning
Our Main Hall offers a flexible, column-free footprint ideal for exhibitions and trade shows. Using a balanced layout approach with 10′ × 10′ booths and 10′ aisles between each row, we can comfortably accommodate 456 exhibitor booths while ensuring smooth traffic flow and attendee access to every exhibitor. The plan also includes two 30′ × 50′ food station areas and perimeter aisles for circulation. This configuration balances density with comfort, creating a professional exhibit environment that maximizes both exhibitor presence and guest experience.
